Heidi Klum made a statement as she attended the special screening of the French film La Passion De Doin Bouffant during the Cannes Film Festival. Walking down the red carpet, the German supermodel grabbed the attention of her own and strangers for her striking, glamorous yellow look.
The bespoke Zuhair Murad design, done in fluorescent yellow chiffon with silver beading over the shoulders, featured a daring diamond-shaped neckline, cutouts on the sides of the turizo, and above the navel. The braless piece also featured a chic hip-length slit over the skirt, a slightly bare back, and baggy sleeves that she blew up as she waved her arms at the cameras.
Heidi added a pair of clear pvc slippers and silver jewelry to complete the look. Her hair was parted in the middle, with tousled bangs and wavy locks, while her face was defined with a porcelain-effect foundation, bronzed blush, and long black lashes with mascara. Her dark and gold eyeshadow complimented her nude lipstick.
While showing off her dress, Klum experienced a minor wardrobe accident when the fabric covering her chest moved. Once she realized it, she adjusted her neckline and continued to shine during the festival. Heidi Klum traveled to Cannes accompanied by her young husband Tom Kaulitz, singer of Tokio Hotel.
Before traveling to the south of France, Klum, 49, and Kaulitz, 33, vacationed in Germany, where they are both from. The singer took a break from touring with his band to spend time with his wife and tour some European cities before the two resume their work commitments in the United States.
Earlier this year, the top model spoke about starting a family with the German singer after five years of romance and four years of marriage. In an interview with Jennifer Hudson, the celebrity left open the possibility of having more children, but they are still thinking about it. Tom and Heidi secretly got married in 2018 after a year of dating.
According to People, the couple held a small wedding in Capri, Italy, with only close friends and family. They then broke the news on social media. Through her social networks, Heidi shared some shots of her outfit and her attendance at the screening of La Passion De Doin Bouffant, starring internationally renowned French celebrities such as Juliette Binoche, Benoîte Magimel, and Pierre Gagniere.
The paparazzi caught Tom several times at his Cap-Eden-Roc hotel enjoying luxurious breakfasts and sunbathing before going to the series of events organized by the festival. Heidi Klum’s appearance at the Cannes Film Festival proves that she is still a fashion icon and continues to stun the world with her timeless beauty and style.
