God of War Ragnarok Release Date Could Be Revealed Soon

God of War Ragnarok

God of War on PS4 was not only one of the best games of 2018, but one of the best games of the generation, according to critics and consumers in general. Suffice it to say that PlayStation fans on both PS4 and PS5 are desperate to get a release date for God of War Ragnarok, its sequel. Officially, the sequel between generations is scheduled to be released sometime this year, and this hasn’t changed. However, while a precise release date is not yet known, a new report suggests that could soon change.

According to Tom Henderson, a leading connoisseur and leaker of the industry, a major new state of play on PlayStation will take place in March. This report has been endorsed by other industry experts and leakers, such as CuentaNGT. To this end, Henderson teases that the third trailer of the game could be revealed during this PlayStation State of Play and this trailer could be accompanied by release date.

We have not heard this, but we have not heard anything to the contrary. In fact, we’ve only heard rumors that complement this claim. More specifically, we heard that the game’s release is scheduled for this year, which would mean that the release date is likely to be announced on the horizon, as PlayStation will want to properly kick off the game’s marketing campaign.

At the time of publication, everything here should be taken with tweezers, as it ranges from the unofficial to the downright speculative.

God of War Ragnarok is in development for PS4 and PS5 and its official release is scheduled for this year. As always, you can check out all of our previous coverage of the game or read more about the game below:
