Gold futures fell during the US session

Gold futures were lower during the US session on Monday.

On the Comex division of the New York Mercantile Exchange, gold futures for December delivery were trading at US$1.00 a troy ounce. At the time of writing this report they are falling by 0.08%.

It early reached a session low for dollars per troy ounce. Gold is likely to find support at 1,699.10 and resistance at 1,738.00.

Dollar Index Futures, which reports the performance of the US dollar against a group of six other major currencies, fell 0.25% to trade at $109.79.

On the other hand, at the Comex, for December delivery rose 0.78% to trade at $18.02 a troy ounce while Copper for December delivery rose 1.32% to trade at $3.46 a pound.
