Halo: first teaser trailer of the live action series of the video game saga for Paramount +

After years of uncertainty about the adaptation of the franchise Halo in the format of television series, Finally Xbox and Paramount have presented a first teaser trailer official on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the first Microsoft console. So much so, that the platform Paramount+ has shared a short video clip in which we see some close-ups of the Master Chief as he places pieces of such mythical armor. The Halo series is expected to premiere sometime next year, at a date yet to be determined.

Let us remember that already in 2013 the involvement of Steven Spielberg in the production of this new and ambitious series based on the Halo universe, an adaptation that throughout these years has gone through several production companies (including possible cancellations, delays and other ups and downs) until it found Paramount, the current person in charge. Now, Xbox has revealed a first teaser of just 30 seconds in which we see the actor Pablo Schreiber (American Gods) in the role of Master Chief while donning some pieces of such iconic armor.

The rest of the most prominent cast is completed with Natascha McElhone (The Truman Show) as the Doctora Catherine Halsey and Jen Taylor What Cortana, after playing the AI ​​in several video games of the franchise now in the hands of 343 Industries. This new adaptation of Halo will be the more ambitious production by Paramount +, something that is already noticeable in the quality of the photography and the attention to detail of this first teaser trailer.

In Spain we can see the Halo series through SkyShowtime, a new streaming platform that is coming soon. For now there is no release date for Halo’s live action series, although we do know that it will arrive during the first half of 2022.
