Halo Infinite progression will be a priority for 343 Industries

Following the release of the Halo Infinite multiplayer beta, 343 Industries has taken a break. This was announced by Brian Jarrad, head of communication for the studio, in a tweet where he mentioned that they had listened to the players, but that the priority for that week was “to provide the team A deserved rest”. When developers return to work, progression will be a top priority.

“Yeah I’m still playing Halo and I empathize [con los jugadores] on progression, ”tweeted Jerry Hook, director of design at 343 Industries. “We will be back next week and this will be found at the top of the list for the team”. The first adjustments focused on a few specific challenges, the progression of which was not very balanced.

First changes to the battle pass

As published by 343 Industries more than a week ago, in response to the comments they decided to modify part of the progression of the battle pass. “To begin with, we will add the challenges ‘play a game’ to make sure you constantly progress through the battle pass ”, so that it is possible to advance by playing in the games themselves. In addition, they also announced that they will double the duration of the double experience boosters.

Halo Infinite released its multiplayer beta by surprise, right after the 20th anniversary celebration event. All the modes and maps will be available when the title sees the light next to the campaign, next December 8. As it is a multiplayer mode that works under the model free-to-play, the product will evolve over time. However, a project of this nature needs a robust battle pass that works in the long term, so they will have to look for a good formula for success.

Multiplayer can be downloaded for free at Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S y PC. The campaign will be sold separately, although of course, it will be part of the Xbox Game Pass catalog from the same day of launch.
