As of today, the half-god Kratos not only moved from Greece to the far north, but also from the Playstation to the PC. God of War is Sony’s third previously exclusive flagship game to hit home computers, following Horizon: Zero Dawn and Days Gone.

In addition to sharper textures and support for Nvidia’s DLSS or AMD’s FSR, the PC version also offers support for ultrawide monitors. Heise video journalist Michael Wieczorek will show what this looks like in practice from 4 p.m. in the live stream. He will compare the PC version with the original PS4 version on the console, but plays it on the Playstation 5. The title received an update there last year that allows playing in 4K resolution at 60 frames per second. Even higher frame rates are possible on the PC. Nvidia’s Ultra Low Latency mode is also supported.

We also explain what the action-packed gaming experience feels like with a mouse and keyboard or an Xbox gamepad.

The live stream will be on Youtube broadcast and starts at 4 p.m. If you prefer to watch on Twitch, you can do this here.
