Horizon Forbidden West is set to become one of the most popular releases from PlayStation Studios in the coming months. The new of Guerrilla Games has been shown in style during the awards gala of The Game Awards with a new gameplay trailer that has allowed us to know a little better the world of this action RPG with an emphasis on the narrative starring Aloy.
Planned for February 18, 2022 on PS5 and PS4, the game just keeps getting better. “Several teams have invested hours and hours in every aspect of Aloy: the combat movements, the animations, the equipment, the hair and the dialogue,” said Ben McCaw, narrative director of Guerrilla.

The Dutch studio recently previewed Aloy’s combat, weapon and skill enhancements in a new development diary. Dennis Zopfi, Guerrilla’s Chief Combat Designer, explained how this range of playable options has improved over the original Horizon Zero Dawn (available on PS4 and PC): “One of the central points that has influenced our decisions about combat was increasing the options player, so we apply it to everything: melee, weapons, outfits, abilities and other new mechanics. We wanted the players to have more tools and depth, ”he said.
