One of the uses that is usually made of YouTube is as music streaming platform, because whether legally or illegally, there are millions of songs, albums, OSTs, fan-remixes, etc. And sometimes, for both a song and a video, we like to do the same thing that Spotify and any decent music player can do: put a track in constant loop playback.
YouTube Loop
How do you do it? Well with a right mouse click on the video, and activating the first option that comes out, ‘Loop’. That easy. The problem is that millions of people make this type of use of YouTube on their mobile -lo-fi playlists for concentrating, working or relaxing are very popular– but inexplicably the app can’t do something as simple as loop a video. Or couldn’t.
A couple of months ago, at the beginning of summer, some users began to see a new option available in the application. A button that precisely allowed us to do the same thing that we have commented above but in the mobile app itself. And if you didn’t know this yet, we will tell you how to activate it for a video that you want to loop continuously:
Looping a video in YouTube app
- Open the YouTube app on your mobile
- Choose the video you want to loop
- Look for the options icon in the upper right corner -the one of the 3 points vertically
- In this section you can change the video quality to the playback speed, activate subtitles and, as you can see, activate Loop or Loop mode.
- Click on this button, and the video you are watching will play again when finished over and over again, until you get bored.
