Within Android there is a function specifically designed to hide or show your caller ID when you make one. So you can activate or remove it, since some operators even block it:

  1. Open the call app on your Android mobile
  2. Look for the icon of the 3 vertical dots, open it and look for the option Settings
  3. Inside this look for Other Settings / Advanced Settings
  4. You should see an option called Caller ID, unplug it if it’s on.
  5. If you have a Samsung mobile with Android 11, within Settings you should get the Supplementary Services option. And within this the function ‘Show my Caller ID’ – same as on the iPhone. Disconnect it and your number will no longer be seen when calling.
