Although uploading posts to Instagram is something we take for granted, sometimes it can suddenly be tricky because no decent wifi, because we don’t have coverageenough, or just for time. And who hasn’t hit the ‘Back’ button by mistake and lost all the changes after a while of editing?
To solve these problems, Instagram has a function called Drafts, which, as indicated, allows retouch images and then save them as drafts to upload later.
How do I save a post as a draft?
Once you’ve created a post, you can save it as a draft and share it later. These are the steps to follow:
- After opening Instagram, tap the central icon at the bottom of the screen representing a camera, and then upload a picture or a video.
- Now edítala to your liking: add effects, filters, a caption or your location.
- Go back to the filter and edit step, then tap the back arrow in the upper left.
- Choose Save draft at the bottom of the screen.
Follow these steps to use the feature, because if you don’t edit the post, tag people, or add a caption or location, you won’t be able to save the post as a draft.
To see the posts you’ve saved as a draft, tap the camera icon at the bottom of the display, then Library. Posts will appear at the bottom of the screen, under Drafts.
