This year’s Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) will not take place in Barcelona on February 1-4 as originally planned, but will be postponed to May 10-13. This was announced by the organizers AVIXA (Audiovisual and Integrated Experience Association) and CEDIA on Tuesday evening.

According to their own statements, they are reacting to the current corona situation in Europe and the developments expected in the coming weeks. Last year, the trade fair was postponed from the beginning of February to the beginning of June due to Corona and finally took place virtually at the same time.

The decision was not only preceded by talks with the exhibitors, but also by an online survey aimed at former ISE visitors. People who had already been accredited were also asked whether they were still interested in participating at the beginning of January.

The organizers of the fitness fair FIBO, which had to be suspended last year due to Corona and is scheduled to take place in Cologne from April 7th to 10th this year, also started a corresponding online survey a few days ago. It even asks under what conditions one can imagine participating.

Integrated Systems Europe took place on the premises of the RAI Amsterdam up to and including 2020. In 2021 it officially moved to Barcelona and has been held there at the Fira Gran Via exhibition center ever since. With the new date in May, the ISE 2022 is approaching the HighEnd in Munich, which according to current planning will take place from May 19th to 22nd.
