Internxt grows more than 1,000% in its first year of life

Internxt, a Spanish company committed to user privacy led by the young entrepreneur Fran Villalba Segarra, continues to grow at an unstoppable rate. According to data from the Valencian startup itself, it has grown by 1,400% in one year tothus close to a million euros in turnover Thanks to its encrypted services in the cloud, its B2B business is 20% of its current turnover.

What’s more, Internxt It has 20 employees and has bet in recent months on senior talent that allows it to continue improving its cloud services, with the arrival of Jorge Tejero, former CFO of Inveready. Along with other additions that will arrive in the coming months from companies such as its competitor ProtonMail, Internxt wants to overcome this 2021 and reach the end of 2022 with a turnover of between three and four million euros.

As a technology company, Internxt has been able to adapt to changes and remote work has become one of its pillars, which has also allowed that recruitment of experienced talent has occurred in a much faster way.

Being such a technological company, we look for highly qualified profiles, which are very demanding with us also because they are in such high demand ”, explains Fran Villalba, CEO of Internxt. He also adds that continuing along the path of flexibility is allowing us “to be more competitive internationally, thus being able, among others, to incorporate profiles with experience in companies we admire,” he concludes.

Internxt has positioned itself as one of the startups with the greatest international projection in the technological and cybersecurity field with the launch of its services Internxt Drive, Send y Photos, that allow users to store and share their documents and photos in the cloud in an encrypted way, thus protecting their data. Thanks to these services, the Valencian startup is present in USA and Europe, as its main markets, and this year it has also experienced great growth in territories such as Latin America, and Asia. In addition, its B2B business unit already accounts for 20% of the company’s turnover.

In just one year of life, Internxt has managed to attract the attention of important Venture Capital and investment funds such as The Venture City, the University of ESADE and Angels Capital of Juan Roig. Thanks to the work carried out by Villalba and his team, Internxt has also received recognition in the national business and entrepreneurial scene, receiving awards as the best startup in the category Connectivity & Data en South Summit 2021, best software startup in Valencia by AJEV and Company of the year in Valencia 2021.
