iX workshop: DevSecOps - Automated security tests in development

Even with DevOps, IT security must be considered as an integral part. In this context, the security mechanisms used are referred to as DevSecOps. The participants of the iX workshops DevSecOps: Automated security tests for WebApp development learn how to integrate automated security checks at the application level into the DevSecOps process.

The course is initially dedicated to the security fundamentals of modern web applications. The participants then use practical examples to deepen their theoretical knowledge in practice in the bi-sec demo and practice environment in the cloud. It will also address which tools can be used to check applications and systems, how they can be integrated into the existing Jenkins pipeline and how the results can be interpreted.

The trainer Christian Biehler is the founder and managing director of bi-sec GmbH and, thanks to many years of experience, himself an expert in the field of IT security audits. The course is aimed at DevOps developers, admins and IT security officers, will take place online on January 31 and February 1, 2022 and, thanks to the limited number of participants, offers space for an intensive exchange. A condition for participation is a computer with KALI Linux and internet access or with an SSH client with X forwarding to a KALI instance provided in the cloud. Those who decide early can get a 10% discount if they book by August 3rd. Further course dates will take place in June, September and November 2022.
