No company is immune from falling victim to a cyber attack. Emergency planning helps to do the right thing quickly in an emergency and thus prevent worse things from happening.

In the three-day online course Emergency planning and emergency exercises work out your guide for professional IT emergency planning, including the emergency exercises necessary for verification, step by step under the guidance of the experienced lecturer. You will get to know the most important standards and methods for IT emergency management and learn how to identify and assess IT risks. Further topics are the structure of the IT emergency documentation including restart planning, the establishment of a reactive IT emergency organization and the implementation and evaluation of emergency exercises.

The training is aimed at IT emergency managers, IT managers, IT security officers, CISOs, business continuity managers, risk managers and auditors. Participants should have basic knowledge of IT security and organizational structures and processes in IT. Theo Nick from HiSolutions is a specialist in business continuity management, information security, IT emergency management and IT risk management. He is ISO 22301 and ISO 27001 lead auditor as well as data protection officer according to DSB-TÜV.

The course takes place from August 30th to September 1st as an online course via video conference. There are only a few remaining places available, but another date is set for November. The workshop is limited to 20 people in order to ensure an intensive exchange between the participants and the speaker. An up-to-date browser is sufficient to participate.
