It seems like it’s been a long time since the still shocking episode that starred Will Smith, Chris Rock, and Jada Pinkett at the last Academy Awards. However, a little more than two months later, the actress has come to the fore to talk for the first time about the blow that the protagonist of ‘I am legend’ gave to the comedian.
With a monologue more intimate and personal than ever and a serious and firm attitude, the actress expressed for the first time how she feels after the embarrassing moment that impacted the world, in one more episode of her program ‘Red Table Talk’.
“On the night of the Oscars. My greatest hope that these two intelligent men will have the opportunity to heal, talk about what happened and reconcile,” the actress said at the beginning of her message.
“As the world is, we need you both, we really need each other more than ever,” continued the ‘Girls trip’ star.
“Until then, Will and I continue to do what we’ve done over the last 28 years – and that means continuing to develop this thing called life together. Thank you for listening,” he concluded.
On the other hand, during the new episode, Jada Pinkett gave space to talk about alopecia, a condition that afflicts her and that was the protagonist of Rock’s joke about her image, which triggered Will’s reaction.
So far, Will Smith has not reappeared publicly after apologizing on his networks.
