Japan’s GDP grew by 0.5% between April and June

Japan’s gross domestic product (GDP) expanded between April and June by 0.5% compared to the previous quarter, the Japanese government announced today.

This growth comes after the practically flat evolution registered by the Japanese economy in the first quarter of the calendar year, according to seasonally adjusted data published on Monday by the Japanese Cabinet office.

Compared to the same quarter of 2021, the Japanese GDP grew by 1.1%.
