JetBlue to Launch Lounges at JFK and Boston Logan Airports in 2025

JetBlue Airways announced plans on Thursday to establish airport lounges at two key Northeast airports starting next year. This move is part of the airline’s efforts to enhance its premium offerings for frequent flyers.

The first lounge is set to open in late 2025 at Terminal 5 of New York’s John F. Kennedy Airport, followed closely by another at Boston Logan International Airport’s Terminal C.

“Customers have asked for a JetBlue lounge for years, and we can’t wait to unveil our take in New York and Boston,” stated JetBlue President Marty St. George. He emphasized that lounges have become an essential amenity for an increasing number of passengers seeking premium experiences. The new lounges will also enhance the value of JetBlue’s TrueBlue loyalty program and their lineup of credit cards.

These lounges are a key component of JetBlue’s JetForward plan, which aims to improve the travel experience by adding premium perks.

Once operational, the lounges will serve as retreats for customers to work, relax, and enjoy their travel experience. JetBlue aims to bring its affordable premium experience from the air to the ground.

Access to the lounges will primarily be available for the airline’s most loyal customers, including those who hold a new premium JetBlue credit card, members of the TrueBlue Mosaic 4 program, and Transatlantic Mint members.

Additionally, all travelers will have the option to purchase annual lounge passes and day passes, with guest passes available depending on the lounges’ capacity.

Spanning 8,000 square feet, the JetBlue lounge at JFK will be designed to accommodate guests comfortably. Meanwhile, the planned Boston lounge will be even larger, at 11,000 square feet.

Each lounge will feature complimentary Wi-Fi, free coffee, and fully equipped private workspaces, along with various food and beverage options to enhance the overall experience.
