Judge dismisses lawsuit against Marilyn Manson for sexual assault

A judge dismissed a lawsuit by a woman who accused Marilyn Manson of raping her and threatening to kill her, according to documents obtained by the magazine. Rolling Stone.

Last Tuesday, magistrate Gregory Keosian ruled in favor of the American singer, considering that there is not enough evidence of the crime, in addition to the fact that it has already prescribed.

The woman, identified under anonymity as Jane Doe, claims to have had an affair with Marilyn Manson in 2011, during which she was allegedly raped by the artist. However, the applicant was unable to sustain her argument in the presence of repressed memories, which was classified as “late discovery”. Now, Doe has 20 days to file a new lawsuit and provide more details of the alleged assault.

Manson faces three other lawsuits from women accusing him of various counts of sexual assault. His ex-partner Ashley Morgan Smithline, his former personal assistant Ashley Walters and actress Esmé Bianco previously filed lawsuits. Meanwhile, more than a dozen women have accused the singer of sexual misconduct and abuse, allegations he has denied.
