After a successful and explosive start, Justin Bieber’s latest world tour has already hit its first hurdle: Covid-19, which the singer tested positive for this weekend, according to a TMZ report.

The news portal spoke with a representative of the singer, who said that Bieber discovered that he had been infected with coronavirus this Saturday. And while the “Baby” singer is doing well, his schedule did suffer.

And it is that at least one date of his current tour has already been postponed. Originally, Justin would perform this Sunday at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, but now that show has been moved to the summer.

“Because several members within the Justice Tour family tested positive for Covid, unfortunately, we will have to postpone Sunday’s show in Las Vegas.

“Justin is, of course, very disappointed, but the health and safety of his team and fans is always his number one priority,” reads a statement posted on the Tour’s official account.

His next date will be this Tuesday in Glendale, Arizona; he then plans to visit The Forum in Los Angeles on Thursday. However, it is still uncertain whether these dates will also be canceled or rescheduled.

“The start of the tour in San Diego was a huge success, and Justin is excited to bring this show to his Las Vegas fans as soon as possible.

“The rescheduled date for Las Vegas will be Tuesday, June 28. The date depends on the NHL Playoffs schedule. Tickets for the concert will be respected. Refunds will be available at the point of purchase,” the statement concludes.
