The rapper and designer have been accused of failing to return 13 very rare and valuable pieces from the personal archive of stylist and fashion collector David Casavant after having rented 49 garments in March 2020.

The owner of the clothing collection maintains that Kanye returned the first 36 without any problems, but at the end of October 2020, he stopped paying the weekly fees for the remaining ones.

According to documents obtained by TMZ, Cassavant — who began working with the musician in 2014 — is now demanding $221,000 in arrears and an additional $195,000 to replace all the material he hasn’t recovered.

Among the 49 items listed on the invoice he has submitted as evidence are a distressed vintage blue denim jacket by Helmut Lang, a $5,000 Gucci fire jacket, and a black mesh T-shirt by Dolce and Gabbana.
