Puerto Rico Celebrates Víctor Manuelle
The Puerto Rico House of Representatives celebrated Víctor Manuelle’s three decades of musical career with an intimate ceremony. Manuelle expressed his gratitude on Instagram, saying “Thank you for watching me grow as a performer and loving me so much! I will always be grateful to them.” The salsa singer has two concerts scheduled at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico on June 3 and 4.
Chiquis Gets Engaged
Mexican-American singer Chiquis recently announced her engagement to photographer Emilio Sánchez via an Instagram reel. “Thank you for making me feel safe enough to believe in love again. Just thank you for being you and loving me the way you do,” she expressed in the sweet post.
Prepare for Latin Music Week
Now open, Billboard announced the official launch of the Latin Music Week 2023 website. The online platform offers all-new and updated information on everything related to Latin Music Week, set to return to Miami from October 2-6. Running for more than 30 years, Billboard’s Latin Music Week is the largest and oldest gathering of the Latin music industry.
Latin Recording Academy Person of the Year
Italian singer Laura Pausini was named the 2023 Latin Recording Academy Person of the Year. With 30 years of experience, Pausini “will be recognized for her career as a multifaceted and multilingual artist, as well as her continued commitment to supporting social justice causes,” according to an official statement.
