Khloé Kardashian no longer tries to follow other people’s expectations for her own life.
On Monday, July 26, the star of Keeping Up With the KardashiansThe 37-year-old tweeted a response to a fan who reached out to her regarding advice she would tell a younger Khloé on how to navigate life.
After the person wrote, “What advice would you give to your past self?”, Khloé replied, “I have a lot of advice to give to my past self, but one thing would be to live for you. Live up to the expectations of others especially when they don’t live that way. “
The Good American founder continued, “Focus on making yourself happy. The rest is too much pressure and it probably won’t matter in the grand scheme of things.”
That same day, another Twitter user asked Khloé for “the key to happiness,” to which the mogul replied, “Create your own.”
This isn’t the first time Khloé has opened up about her journey toward self-acceptance. In April, she posted an Instagram post to address the debate that emerged on social media about a bikini photo of herself that she didn’t love.
“For over a decade in photos, every flaw and imperfection has been microanalyzed and mocked down to the smallest detail and the world reminds me of them every day,” True Thompson’s mother wrote at the time.
