The popular manganime Saint Seiya, known in Spain as Knights of the Zodiac, will have its own adaptation as live action movie in charge of Sony Pictures next to Toei; and a good part of the cast has already been confirmed, including such famous names as Sean Bean (Game of Thrones), Famke Janssen (X-Men) o Mackenyu (Pacific Rim: Uprising), among others. Thus, up to a total of seven names as part of the cast of this new adaptation of Knights of the Zodiac, starting with its protagonist, the Japanese-American actor Mackenyu, which will be Seiya, the leader of the Knights of the Zodiac. Son of the famous martial arts actor Sonny Chiba who recently passed away from COVID-19, Mackenyu has appeared in films such as Pacific Rim: Uprising O Tokyo Ghoul.

On the other hand, the famous actor Sean Bean (Game of Thrones, The Lord of the Rings) will be Alman Kiddo, Seiya’s master. Another of the most popular names is that of the actress Famke Janssen (X-Men), although for now he has not transcended his role. The cast is completed with Madison Iseman (Jumanji: Next Level) as Sienna, Diego tinoco like phoenix, Not steel (The Thin Red Line, Terminator 3) and Mark Dacascos (Iron Chef).

This new Saint Seiya movie will be directed by Tomasz BaginskiPolish animator and special effects expert who recently worked on the series The Witcher, under the script of Josh Campbell and Matt pieces (10 Cloverfield Lane). He will be in charge of the choreographies of the combats Andy Cheng after working on Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings for Marvel Studios.
