Chapter 5 of the production “Loki” presents new variants of the god of deception. The protagonist was eliminated with a stick from the TVA agents but did not die but was transported to the ‘end of time’.
This is a dimension that serves as a garbage dump for the authority of time. Basically, it explains that they cannot remove all matter from a timeline; for this reason, they freeze development at the ‘end of time’.
There they live the variants of Lokis that have been persecuted by TVA. One of them is the alligator Loki, which wears the popular horns of the character’s costume. However, its presence has been questioned by the same protagonists of chapter 5.
“Is it really Loki? Or is it just green? ”Hiddleston comments in one of his lines. Michael Waldron, scriptwriter of the series, responds about the case in an interview for Marvel.com.
But I want people to ask him. It’s very stupid, but it also makes a lot of sense. You almost have to take it seriously, like maybe he was [un Loki]. Why shouldn’t there be an alligator version of Loki? For all we know, it may be an alligator universe or whatever. It is the type of irreverent thing that we raise in the series so that the audience takes it seriously ”, the scriptwriter details.
It is not really known which multiverse this character belongs to or if it is a true Loki. However, in the same episode we managed to see Thor Frog, so anything is possible.
What is the most powerful version of Loki?
Classic Loki may look a bit ridiculous in the old comics suit but it is the variant with more developed powers. He manages to trick Alioth by creating a replica of Asgard.
Thanks to this action, Sylvie and Loki manage to get into the mind of Alioth, the powerful being that consumes everything at the ‘end of time’. Sadly, the old version ends up getting eaten.
