Lolita Flores enjoyed a fun-filled Saturday with her kids, Elena and Guillermo, son-in-law Gonzalo Sierra, cousin Paloma Sánchez Flores, and nephew Chema.
The occasion was the wedding of Álvaro, whom Lolita adores, and his wife Susana. The festivities were held in a beautiful country house garden and were filled with laughter, dancing, music, and great food.
Prominent guests at the wedding included businessman Borja Rew and Alejandro Gómez Acebo, the grandson of the Infanta Pilar. However, Lolita’s youngest grandchildren, Noah and Nala, were not present.
As a grandmother, Lolita adores her grandchildren and considers it different from having to raise her own children. She celebrated her 65th birthday in a stylish aquamarine skirt and lingerie-style top with a small shawl for a flamenco touch.
Lola Flores, Lolita’s mother, had a close-knit family with two daughters, Lolita and Rosario, and five grandchildren, whose birthdays, baptisms, and public events they attend. Everyone got together recently for the opening of the museum in honor of Lola’s 100th birthday.
Visitors can now view more than 200 pieces by the famous artist, including her performance costumes, batas de cola, and jewelry, in Jerez de la Frontera. An excellent tribute to the star of María de la O, Lola Flores.
