Lula says he will create anti-corruption measures if elected in Brazil

Former Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva said on Thursday he will take further steps to investigate any corruption-related crimes if he is elected in national elections in October.

In an interview with TV Globo’s Jornal Nacional, the nightly news program with the largest audience in Brazil, the candidate said that anyone in his government accused of corruption would be investigated and punished if proven guilty.
