Madonna Shares Support for Ukraine with ‘Sorry’ Remix Video

Madonna is the latest artist to weigh in on the Conflict between Russia and Ukraine, expressing her support for Volodymyr Zelenksi’s nation. The Michigan singer took to social media to share a fan-made video with a remix of her 2005 song Sorry.

“The senseless and greed-driven invasion of Ukraine MUST be stopped! Please send humanitarian aid to help millions of citizens of Ukraine whose lives are being affected by this CRISIS right now!” he posted on his account.

“Putin has violated all existing human rights agreements. Putin has no right to try to erase Ukraine’s existence. We support you President Zelensky. We are praying for you and your country! 🙏🏼 .”, he added.

Madonna also pointed out to fans a link in her bio about a Global Citizen article about “9 Meaningful Ways You Can Help Ukraine.”

This isn’t the first time Madonna has used her Sorry remix to make a statement. He previously used it for the soundtrack of an anti-war video interlude on his 2006 Confessions tour.
