The unexpected passing of Julián Figueroa has left the entire country of Mexico in shock. The one who is most affected by this tragedy is his mother, Maribel Guardia, a well-known actress and mother of only one child. Her father, Joan Sebastian, passed away in 2015, so the loss of her son has been understandably difficult for her.

Julián Figueroa was a 27-year-old singer-songwriter and actor in rancheras. He was also a father to his son Jose Julian Figueroa Garza, who was born in 2017, through his relationship with Ime Garza-Tuñón.

Julián’s cause of death was a heart attack, which was detailed in a meaningful social media post from his grieving mother. She also explained how she found out about her son’s passing.

In a 2019 interview, she revealed that after her marriage to Joan Sebastian ended due to infidelity, she did not have any more babies, although she had wanted to.
