The Avengers are back in phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. “WandaVision” and “The Falcon and the Winter” are now available on Disney Plus and on June 9 will premiere “Loki”, the solo series of Thor’s brother.
Through YouTube, the production company has started the advertising campaign with previews of the series. We have already seen that Loki was arrested by TVA (the authority of time) after having stolen the tesseract and doing his thing after “Avengers: Endgame”.
Just a few days ago, we shared with you the latest television spot where it is seen that the protagonist undresses to give him his new prison suit. However, it had not been seen how he is led to his new mission.
Recently, Marvel Studios shared a new official trailer where “Miss Minutes” is introduced, an apparent artificial intelligence that guides the prisoners in their process of confinement.
Interestingly, he explains that Loki will now have to fulfill his penance by collaborating with the authority to repair the timeline that he himself has destroyed or put into chaos.
Dave Bautista lashes out at Marvel over Drax story
Things are very tense in the Guardians of the Galaxy cast. Actor Dave Bautista, who plays Drax the Destroyer, no longer has high expectations about his character development from Marvel.
In statements to Uproxx, Bautista assured that James Gunn, the screenwriter and director of the third installment of the Guardians of the Galaxy, had told him: “For me there is no Drax without you.” While this is a sign of dependency between the actor and his characters, Marvel may well dispense with Bautista and continue with Drax’s story.
“The character is not going anywhere and they can renew him or start with him from scratch, and I think they should,” said Bautista.
“I would love to see him personally, as a fan. I would love to see how they do justice to Drax’s story because it’s such a great story. And I think if there is someone who can step in and put a completely different spin and play with Drax, it would look different, but it is a possibility and it is something that I would like to see personally as a fan, “he added.
Bautista believes he knows better than Marvel that Drax’s story deserves a spin-off like Black Widow, but the production house did not plan something like that with the character for the last phases of the MCU.
“I think Drax has a really interesting backstory that they have wasted. This is not an attack on Marvel. They had their plan, I know what they’re focused on, what they’ve planned. But man, I think they really missed an opportunity with Drax. It has a great backstory, ”Bautista told Collider.
