Marvel Studios had to move its entire release schedule after the coronavirus pandemic. Initially, phase 4 of the Avengers Cinematic Universe was expected to begin in April, but the pandemic affected many industries, including cinema.
Black Widow was due to hit theaters in April but had to move until May 2021 as theaters in many countries are still closed.
