WandaVision is Marvel’s most disruptive series, because it is not yet clear how Scarlet Witch was able to bring Vision (Paul Bettany) to life after his death in Avengers: Endgame. Could it be that the Marvel heroine is playing with reality?
The truth is that we will have to wait for the premiere of the Marvel series on Disney + to have a clearer idea of how this alternative line to the UCM will develop. Meanwhile, we can be amazed by the art related to the original Scarlett Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) design.
Marvel Director of Visual Development Andy Park posted Scarlett Witch’s original sketch for her first appearance in the 2015 Avengers movie on Instagram.
“Wanda Through the Years,” begins Park’s post. Ok, I think this was the first concept art I did of Wanda during pre-production on Avengers: Age of Ultron. So, as sometimes happens, we start making designs even before there is a director or reading a script. It is the first exploration of design. I did this knowing that they probably wouldn’t accept it. Sometimes you just have to do it yourself. “
Marvel fans are aware that Wanda’s many costumes in the movies stayed pretty much the same during her appearances and ditched the comic book aspect in development. Luckily, the WandaVision series will be the right place for the heroine’s appearance to be the most faithful to the comics.
