Marvel’s Avengers will have exclusive content on PlayStation platforms, which translates into the inclusion of Spider-Man, a superhero that we can only handle in these versions. However, the information is rather brief, beyond the fact that we already know that it will be a vision of the study itself, Crystal Dynamics. Therefore, we will not see Peter Parker from Insomniac Games, although the developer has already confirmed that we will. will have a story and some movie scenes. Of course, it will be an event.

MP1st collects some statements made by Dan Matlack, producer of Marvel’s Avengers, on Discord, where he states that the Spider-Man content will take place as if it were some kind of event. “Spider-Man is what we call ‘event’, so it will have cutscenes and history for sure ”, has written.

A minor content?

In this case, the title that they have wanted to give is relevant, since until now when they have referred to events they have always been small additions. In fact, in the roadmap presented by Crystal Dynamics, the Spider-Man event appears relegated in the zone reserved for the smallest changes. Anyway, we will have to wait until the study reveals what exactly it consists of. In any case, the content is still planned for this year 2021.

Marvel’s Avengers went on sale last year 2020 on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, PC and Google Stadia. Conceived as a video game as a service, the project has had serious difficulties in maintaining its mass of players, mainly because the chosen model requires a very regular flow of content, which they have not been able to provide. Not surprisingly, the delays began to occur from the beginning, including the version optimized for the new generation, which was finally released in early 2021.
