More than a month after the premiere of Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, Eidos Montreal continues to add new features. The title was planned to implement ray tracing technology on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X, something that has finally materialized through a new update, also available on the rest of the platforms (with other changes). It is a graphical configuration that prioritizes visual quality.
The Square Enix developer also confirms that performance has been improved on PS4 (base console), while now it is possible unlock framerate on Xbox Series S, an option especially recommended for those who have a VRR panel. How could it be otherwise, various issues related to bugs and performance have been resolved.

Less than a year together
Peter Quill, also known as Star Lord, is a hero-like scoundrel who hangs out with other very unique characters. He is accompanied by the murderous Gamora, Drax the Destroyer, Rocket and Groot. Eidos Montreal has outlined a history of origins very focused on the narrative, which reflects the relationship between all these protagonists. The truth is that the Guardians have been together for less than a year, an aspect that can be seen in the continuous frictions that occur within the group. Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy was released for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, PC, and Nintendo Switch (cloud edition).
