XCOM’s developer studio, Firaxis Games, shared the gameplay of the upcoming tactical RPG game Marvel’s Midnight Suns with the players. As you can see in the gameplay trailer below, the game will be much more than just the XCOM version of Marvel. Marvel’s Midnight Suns will be released for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch in March 2022, and the game will have a very different gameplay than previous productions of Firaxis.
For an in-depth look at the game, check out the game’s six-minute trailer. Midnight Suns will have a card-based fighting mechanic and you will also try to develop your relationship with different characters in the scenes where you are not fighting.
Marvel’s Midnight Suns will bring with it an assortment of heroes from all over the Marvel universe, including the Avengers, X-Men, Runaways and more. You will play the Hunter, a fully customizable hero in the game. You will assemble Iron Man, Wolverine, Ghost Rider and many more to stop Lilith, the mother of the demons and Hunter, who has awakened from her deep sleep.
