Meghan Markle to Detail Royal Struggles in Revealing New Memoir: Report

Meghan Markle is preparing to delve deeper into the mental health struggles she faced during her time in the royal family in an upcoming tell-all memoir, according to recent reports.

The Duchess of Sussex, 43, has previously opened up about her battles with suicidal thoughts during her life as a royal in the UK. She briefly touched on these experiences again in a CBS interview earlier this month.

Sources suggest that the former “Suits” star plans to share more details when the time is right.

“The talk among their friends is that it’s time to take the gloves off and do away with the diplomacy,” a source told Closer.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s chief of staff recently quit as they were gearing up for a trip to Colombia, another sign that the couple may be preparing for a significant strategic shift.

“There’s so much demand for Meghan to speak out, whether that’s in the form of another sit-down interview or even her own memoir. She has the potential to make an absolute fortune and clear up a lot of questions,” the insider added.

The source also mentioned that the royal family’s decision to exclude the Sussexes from this year’s summer retreat at Balmoral has fueled Markle’s desire to release a written project. Although the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were not surprised by the exclusion, it was unwelcome news.

“They’re now being forced to figure out a strategy to fight back, and one option on the table is to go all-out with a big tell-all from Meghan where she completely lays out her side of the story,” said the insider.

The Post has reached out to representatives for the Sussexes for comment on the rumors surrounding Markle’s tell-all book. These rumors began to circulate soon after Prince Harry’s explosive “Spare” memoir was released in January 2023.

Harry’s memoir, which shed light on his time in the royal family, became the fastest-selling nonfiction book of all time. The Sussexes had signed a lucrative four-book deal with Penguin Random House in 2021.

If the rumors are true, this wouldn’t be Markle’s first foray into publishing. In 2021, she became a published author with the release of her children’s book, “The Bench.”

Since then, she’s gone on to launch a now-defunct podcast, “Archetypes,” and is working on a lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard, which has yet to launch.
