Prince Harry to Attend Father Charles III’s coronation

Prince Harry is set to attend the official coronation of his father, King Charles III, on May 6, 2022. Buckingham Palace confirmed this news on Wednesday. The coronation ceremony will take place at Westminster Abbey.

Meghan Stays Back in US

While Prince Harry will be present at the coronation, his wife, Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex, will remain in the United States with her children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.

Relationship with the British Royal Family

Prince Harry’s relationship with the rest of the British royal family has been strained in recent months. This is due to the release of his memoir, “Spare”, in which he accuses other members of the royal household of leaking information about him and his wife to the press.

This will be the first time that the prince will meet with the rest of his family since the publication of the book, which revealed internal tensions between members of the monarchy.

The Coronation of King Charles III

King Charles III assumed the throne last September, following the death of his mother, Queen Elizabeth II. More than 2,000 representatives from various countries are expected to attend the coronation ceremony in London.

The religious service will begin at 11:00 local time (10:00 GMT), after which the sovereign and Queen Camilla will lead a procession through central London, accompanied by hundreds of members of the British armed forces.

We hope that Prince Harry’s attendance at the coronation will help ease tensions with the British royal family.
