The MeriPodcast is back. We take over from our retro companions with an episode largely dedicated to The Game Awards, which has already announced the nominees for all the awards, added to other interesting details such as that we will know at least 10 world firsts during the gala, which is held in the night of December 9 to 10 from 01:00 (CET). Which game will this year’s GOTY be?
We not only review the nominees, but also explain how to proceed with the nominations, who votes and how we think the event would be better for the future. What will be that ad that you have been working on since summer 2019? We put down our bets.

We also spent a few minutes on the future of CD Projekt RED. The Polish company has informed its investors that the versions next gen from Cyberpunk 2077 and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will be requested until the first quarter of 2022 and the second quarter of 2022, respectively. We discussed the current state of the game and what we can expect from both titles in the future, as there are content expansion plans and multiplayer experiences for the futuristic RPG.
Finally, as always we end up with the What are we playing, which this time leaves us with titles such as Halo Infinite, The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, Big Brain Academy: Battle of Wit, Forza Horizon 5 and Pokémon Shiny Diamond and Shimmering Pearl, among others.
