Miranda Lambert Lists Five Songs for Fans to Fight To at Her Shows

Miranda Lambert is fine with fights breaking out at her shows, as long as fans pick the right time for it.

Recently, the country star halted a performance of her award-winning ballad “Tin Man” to break up a fight in the audience. She called the police to handle the situation, ensuring the rowdy fans were removed. However, she later explained that the fight itself wasn’t the issue; it was the disruption it caused during one of her most emotional songs.

“If you want to fight at my shows, I’m all about it. Give ’em hell,” Lambert shared in a video message on social media. “I’ve got five songs for you.”

She went on to list the songs from her repertoire that would better suit a brawl: “Fastest Girl in Town,” “Kerosene,” “Gunpowder and Lead,” “Little Red Wagon,” and her new single, “Wranglers.”

Though Lambert enjoys a rowdy country show, she treasures strong storytelling and emotional performances even more. This is why she won’t tolerate fights during her heart-wrenching ballads.

“Don’t do it during ‘Tin Man.’ That’s not the time,” she emphasized. “I know you can hear the s–t-talking because it’s a ballad. But that’s not the time. So pick your times. You’ve got five songs. Look at the set list and choose wisely.”

Most fans in the comments were supportive, echoing her sentiments. Some even suggested other Lambert songs that might be suitable for a fight, such as “Only Prettier,” “Crazy Ex-Girlfriend,” and “Mama’s Broken Heart.”

Lambert is currently in the midst of releasing new music. After dropping “Wranglers” in May, she followed up with another song, “Dammit Randy,” which features a co-writing credit from her husband, Brendan McLoughlin.
