The American Zoe Sozo Bethel, crowned Miss Alabama 2021, passed away last Friday in Miami at the age of 27 after suffering an accident that caused irreversible damage to her brain, her family announced on Instagram.
The beauty queen was injured in an accident on February 10. His relatives did not reveal more details about the event, but a few days ago they informed his followers on the social network that he had suffered serious brain damage and was in a coma. “Doctors say the injuries you suffer are definitive and you may not have much time left,” they wrote.
“On Friday, February 18, 2022, at approximately 5:30 a.m. ET in Miami, Florida, our beloved Zoe Sozo Bethel moved from this life to the next as a result of succumbing to her injuries,” her relatives wrote on the model’s Instagram profile last Sunday.
Four days before her death, Bethel’s family confirmed that the young woman had had a serious accident. “Zoe had an accident on Thursday night, February 10, and suffered severe damage to her brain/brainstem and is in a coma,” the model’s environment confirmed. “Unfortunately, doctors say the damage can’t be repaired and you may not have much time left,” they added on Feb. 14.

Last year, Bethel represented the state of Alabama in the America Strong single women’s beauty pageant. She was deeply religious and worked as a political commentator for the Right Side Broadcasting Network (RBSN), a conservative news media company known for covering former US President Donald Trump’s rallies.
