MTV Video Music Awards: When and How to See Them Live

This Sunday MTV will present another installment of the Video Music Awards in which a large number of artists consecrated along with some newer ones will compete for their statuette between 14 categories. Thanks to fan vote, stand out among the nominees Justin Bieber, Megan Thee Stallion, Billie Eilish, Doja Cat, Drake, Giveon, Lil Nas X y Olivia Rodrigo. Here we tell you all the details and how you can see the celebration live.




After last year’s edition without an audience due to the pandemic of Covid-19, this time the channel will broadcast a celebration with fans from New York which will be full of surprises and musical performances led by Doja Cat. The red carpet show will not be missing either, among which Kim Petras, Swedish House Mafia and Polo G will stand out, under the presentation of Nessa Diab, Jamila Mustafa and TINASHE.

In addition, they will name the different award categories Curtis 50 Cent Jackson, AJ MClean, Ashanti, Avril Lavigne, Billie Eilish, Billy Porter y Conor McGregor. They will also be handing out the figurines Cyndi Lauper, Fat Joe, Hailey Bieber, Halle Bailey, JA Rule, Lance Bass, Megan Fox, Nick Lachey, Rita Ora, Simone Biles and Travis Barke.

This Sunday September 12, MTV will broadcast the awards for all its channels and their digital platforms, present in more than 180 countries. It will be broadcast from the Barclays Center, in the United States, and can be seen live in both Latin America and Spain. Review the Schedule according to your country.

Mexico, Colombia, Peru and Ecuador: 19:00

Chile, Paraguay, Venezuela and Bolivia: 20:00

Argentina, Brazil and Uruguay: 21:00

Among the live musical performances the Foo Fighters who will receive the first Global Icon award at the VMAs. In addition, they will sing their latest hits Justin Bieber, Camila Cabello, Doja Cat, Shawn Mendes, Chlöe, Olivia Rodrigo, Lil Nas X and Alicia Keys. For their part, they will do their show live Ozuna, Tainy, Machine Gun Kelly, Travis Barker, Kracey Musgraves, Twenty One Pilots, Normani, Jack Harlow, The Kid Laroi y Swae Lee.
