Naomi Campbell clarified that her daughter was not adopted in an interview with British Vogue. The 51-year-old model stunned the world by announcing the birth of her daughter in May, just weeks after appearing on the runway at Paris Fashion Week with no evidence of pregnancy.
In his interview with Vogue, he has not wanted to reveal the name of the little girl and for now, it will continue to be so. “It’s the best thing I’ve ever done,” he confessed. Campbell said she felt like “a little girl again” as she lives life through her little girl. “I’m reliving nursery rhymes, playing and discovering how many cool new toys there are in the world. Things I couldn’t even dream of.”Despite continually expressing her desire to have children, Campbell told WSJ Magazine in 2019, that she was not prepared. “Not yet, I’ll see what the universe brings me.”
However, the Vogue cover girl insisted she didn’t want to be a single mother. “I want a father figure. I think it’s important. That’s how I feel today.” He made the statement shortly after breaking up with former One Direction, Liam Payne, 27. After dating Payne, she had a relationship with English rapper Skepta, 38, who became known for his alleged romance with British singer Adele.
The model has never married. He was about to do it with Flavio Briatore, former sporting director of the Renault Formula 1 team, and also with the Russian millionaire Vladislav Doronin. She also had a turbulent romance with Spanish dancer Joaquín Cortés. Naomi Campbell is one of the most famous names in the fashion industry since she was discovered at age 15 in London. She was part of the group of supermodels that reigned in the 80s and 90s, along with Claudia Schiffer, Cindy Crawford, and Linda Evangelista.
The top model insists that the nine-month-old baby, whose biological father has not been revealed, was procreated by her. Speaking to the latest edition of the post while posing with her daughter for a photoshoot, the model confirmed, “She wasn’t adopted, she’s my daughter,” though she declined to elaborate on the baby. However, she admitted that very few people in her wide circle of friends and family knew she planned to become a mom. “I can count on the fingers of one hand the number of people who knew I was having her, but she is the greatest blessing I could ever imagine. It’s the best thing I’ve ever done,” he acknowledged.
Elsewhere in the interview, Naomi insisted that she still loves modeling, however, she admitted that as she gets older she becomes more “worried”. “I still enjoy it, but it’s stressful!” he explained. “Because I’m 51 years old walking with 18-year-old girls. It’s great to be with these young people my age, but I have to say that at one of the shows I said, “Come on, girls! Lift your feet! Why are you walking so slowly? Naomi added: ‘I definitely feel like my time was more joyful. Smile! We had to show our personalities.”
On the conditions he experienced in his early days because of his ancestry, Campbell said: ‘There were many times when I paraded on the fashion catwalks, but I was never chosen for advertising campaigns and it hurt, it hurt a lot. “I would have to hold on and keep moving. Of course, it would have been great to have had that support around me back then, but I’m proud to see it happen now, I’m proud to see diversity now.”
The ’90s fashion icon was first seen with her daughter in public during a low-key outing in New York in July. Naomi wore a baggy white shirt with baggy black pants as she walked the streets while pushing her daughter’s stroller. Naomi announced that she had become a mom in May 2021. The model, who is believed to be single, surprised her Instagram followers when she shared an image carrying her newborn daughter and claimed she had never felt a ‘bigger love’.
“A beautiful little blessing has chosen me to be her mother. I am so honored to have this gentle soul in my life that there are no words to describe the lifelong bond I now share with you, my angel. There is no greater love,” he added.
