Natalie Portman, the Hollywood actress, who has been in the news lately for her husband’s alleged infidelity, was seen at the Parc des Princes stadium in Paris, cheering for Paris Saint-Germain in their last game of the French league. Portman, dressed in jeans, a white shirt, a gray checkered blazer, and sunglasses, watched the game alone but was visibly energetic and excited throughout.
Portman, who has been a vocal supporter of women’s soccer and even created her own women’s soccer team in Los Angeles, met with tennis player Novak Djokovic and French actor Jamel Debbouze during halftime. Despite the rumors, Portman and her husband, Benjamin Millepied, have not separated yet and are trying to work things out.
Last year, the couple had faced a marital crisis, but they managed to work on their relationship and come out of it stronger. Their focus now is on protecting their children – Aleph, 12, and Amalia, 6.
Millepied’s alleged affair was with Camille Étienne, a 25-year-old climate activist and author from France. The actress would have learned about the betrayal in early March, according to reports. Although Portman has not commented on the rumors, she hinted at the issue a day before it made headlines by recommending a book about a “grieving wife” on her social media.
Portman and Millepied met in 2009 on the set of The Black Swan. They got engaged a year later and tied the knot in 2012. The couple has two children together, Aleph and Amalia.
