Tomorrow is September 26, and this is nothing but the one chosen by Naughty Dog to celebrate Outbreak Day, commemorating one of its most famous sagas as it is The Last of Us. In this way, the Californian study, which is already involved in other very different issues, will present tomorrow morning news related to the franchise, although it has not been detailed whether it will have to do with the series in which they are also involved with HBO or future video game content.
It has been on the official PlayStation blog where they have announced a new line of merchandising related to The Last of Us, among which we can find everything from clothing such as t-shirts, shirts, hats or jackets to accessories such as backpacks or purses, through musical objects such as straps, picks, or even a replica of Ellie’s guitar. However, beyond that, they have anticipated that the news does not end there.
“Along with this merchandising, we will reveal new content on September 26 at 6:00 CET. Make sure to come back and check it out at TheLastofUs.com/TLOUDay,” they say in the post. Indeed, We will know these news at 6:00 p.m. tomorrow, peninsular time.
The television series, closest to its premiere
Will it be a first trailer for the television series? It is not disposable, since the filming of it is well advanced, as several members of the team have already stated. In the series they are involved from Craig Mazin (Chernobyl) as a screenwriter, to Neil Druckmann himself in the same role. Meanwhile, in the role of Joel and Ellie we find Pedro Pascal (The Mandalorian) and Bella Ramsey (Game of Thrones) respectively, although we have been meeting other members of the cast. However, the premiere of the series is still expected for the next year 2022.
