Yes, you read that right Netflix has finally released a new brief teaser clip for its upcoming series Resident Evil live-action series. The short clip of the series shows Cerberus, the iconic zombie dog from the series that is walking towards the camera.
In the video, as the dog turns around with his head, the red lighting exposes the rotting flesh on one side of the head. And then it immediately follows by the official logo for the new series. The video was posted by the makers on the official Instagram account for the series but has been removed and replaced with the still images from the teaser. but the video was already saved amongst a few fans and was shared on Twitter. A few months earlier, the streaming giant Netflix also released an exclusive animated series named Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness. In this series, the story revolved around a zombie outbreak at the White House. The new series which we will be seeing is also a live-action series and is being produced by a German production company along with Constantin Film. They are also behind the recently released movie reboot of Resident Evil” Welcome to the Raccoon City.
What we got from the synopsis of Netflix that was released last year, the show will feature the famous Wesker Kids. They will be uncovering many secrets drugged inside the New Racoon city. And Albert Wesker will be one of the primary antagonists in the Resident Evil Games.
The synopsis reads: “When the Wesker kids move to New Raccoon City, the secrets they uncover might just be the end of everything,”
We all know the streaming giant Netflix has produced dozens of video game adaptations over the years. One of the most notable ones out of that is the Witcher, Castlevania, and the Resident Evil Movie. The streaming giant is also currently working the movies based on two Ubisoft properties that Assassin’s Creed series and Beyond Good & Evil.
The series recently released named Resident Evil: Welcome to Racoon City that is currently in the cinemas is a reboot version of the Resident Evil franchise. The film features an origin story that is created by keeping in mind the first two entries in capcom’s survival horror series. The film is written and directed by Johannes Roberts who is also famous for his work in 47 meters down.
