New Network and Cable TV Shows, Including ‘Lost,’ Coming to Netflix

Suits - Season 9

Netflix has a lot coming in July, most of it being original shows such as Cobra Kai and some reality/competition stuff. However, there are some very notable network and cable shows coming to the streamer, including one of the most landmark TV series of the 2000s! Here’s a quick look at what network and cable shows you can check out on Netflix this July!

Just in time for its 20th anniversary, you can once more watch all six seasons of the Emmy-winning ABC hit. Everyone knows the story as the survivors of a plane crash find themselves stranded on an island that turns out to have scores of secrets. The twists and turns can still stun you and enthrall you with the complex mythology.

It’s backed by a cast that’s now famous like Matthew Fox, Evangeline Lilly, Josh Holloway, Jorge Garcia, Terry O’Quinn, Michael Emerson and more. From the fantastic first episode to its controversial ending, it’s a wild ride that remains an incredible achievement for any network TV show.

Draft Day

At last, the final season of the USA Network hit is coming to Netflix so you can binge the entire series in one go. Season 9 has Harvey and Donna finally getting together while the firm reels from Robert’s disbarment. The investigation puts them all in jeopardy amid the usual tough cases.

There’s Louis facing fatherhood, Mike making a fun return and a wonderful wedding finale. It brings the hit show to a terrific conclusion and for those who made Suits a Netflix sensation, here’s the chance to see how it all wraps up.

With word of Daniel Ezra leaving the show before season 7, here’s the last chance to see him on the CW hit as a series regular. Season 6 picks up a year and a half after season 5 with Spencer dreaming of heading into the NFL, but first, he has to handle college ball, his relationship with Olivia, and his family. Patience recovers from her stabbing while Asher deals with fatherhood.

There’s some good storylines as the show celebrates its 100th episode and Taye Diggs makes a nice return before a terrific finale that closes out Spencer’s story. For those waiting for the show to join the Netflix library, here’s the chance to get into the game.

Heels Season 2 2023

This short-lived Starz series has Stephen Amell (Arrow) as Jack Spade, the star of his family’s small professional wrestling promotion. He and brother Ace (Alexander Ludwig) are soon in a battle for power that puts their in-ring characters to shame and brings up a lot of issues with the family.

You don’t have to be a pro wrestling fan to enjoy the show, which has amazing power and fantastic drama. It combines with the good cast and showcases some hard-hitting drama, so while it wasn’t a hit on Starz, Netflix gives you a chance to enjoy this underrated drama more.

Dominic Purcell, Wentworth Miller, Amaury Nolasco, Rockmond Dunbar

Back on Netflix is this wild Fox drama which started in 2005. Before they were on The Flash or Legends of Tomorrow, Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell headlined this show. When Purcell is unjustly imprisoned for killing the Vice President’s brother, Miller arranges for himself to be sent to the same prison with a plan tattooed on his body to break them out. However, they face challenges from the escape to a vast conspiracy.

The show is absolutely wild, upping the ante in every season with insane twists and turns and a compelling pack of characters, notably Robert Knepper’s twisted T-Bag. The run includes the 2017 revival series and while it went a bit off the rails, it’s still a fun watch for Netflix viewers.
