Assetto Corsa Competizione is getting a free PS5 and Xbox Series X/S upgrade on February 24, 2022.

Announced at Gamescom 2021, the next-gen release will increase the game’s framerate support to 60 FPS, allow players to set up custom multiplayer lobbies, and update car designs for the 2021 GT World Challenge season. All DLC owned by the players will also be transferred from the last generation to the next generation versions.

In addition to the free upgrade, physical versions of the PS5 and Xbox Series versions of the game will also come to the stores. These editions will include the 2020 GT World Challenge Pack expansion, which includes three extra cars, over 60 designs and more.

Developer Kunos Simulazioni will hold a demonstration of Assetto Corsa on August 27 and share with players what’s next for the racing series.
