Nordex is awarded a 300 megawatt contract for El Sauz in Texas (USA)

Frankfurt (Germany), Dec 3 (EFE) .- The wind turbine manufacturer Nordex, in which Acciona has a third party, has been awarded a 300 megawatt contract for the El Sauz wind farm in Texas (USA).

Nordex has informed this Friday that it will supply 67 N155 / 4.X turbines of the Delta4000 series.

The order includes the maintenance service of the turbines for five years.

El Sauz will be built in South Texas, near Raymondville, and is a project developed by Apex Clean Energy and owned by JERA Americas, the US subsidiary of global energy leader JERA, which supplies 30% of the electricity in Japan.

JERA was created as an alliance of Tokyo Electric Power Group and Chubu Electric Power Group.

The turbines will be installed in summer 2022 and will be supplied in a 4.5 megawatt operating mode.
