Julien baptiste already stood out during the BBC series known as The Missing where his ability as a detective, added to an incomparable essence, made him a unique character in that fiction fact that motivated the interpretation of Tcheky Karyo was celebrated by specialized critics. So much so that 5 years after that story, in 2019, the spin off starring this particular character arrived.

The truth is that on January 2, the story of this detective, who cannot handle his genius and becomes emotionally involved more than necessary in his investigations, with non-negotiable convictions and a look that manages to solve impossible cases, will come to fruition. StarzPlay for a second batch of interesting episodes and with much more Baptiste for lovers of this genre.

Baptiste is back!

Surgery resulting from a problematic brain tumor took him away from his natural responsibilities as a researcher, however, the next season of his story will find him solving the case of the British ambassador to Hungary: Emma Chambers, masterfully interpreted by Fiona Shaw. The husband and children of politics disappeared and it is in that comfortable resort in the mountains where the figure of this researcher resurfaces.

Special note for the acting duel between Tcheky Karyo y Fiona Shaw. His characters establish a conflictive link, between trust and mistrust. With an inescapable reality: both need each other in this situation that marked a return to Baptiste and the desperation of the ambassador in the face of her problem.

It seems that travel is not a setback for the main character in this story. Why? The first season of this spin off found Julien in the Netherlands and now it is Hungary’s turn to watch him observe, deduce and discover what is happening with the case that he has to decipher. There are no borders to Baptiste, just a calculating presence and eager to find the answers to the most complex questions. !StarzPlay has a series of luxury!
