A one-year-old girl from the state of Texas (USA), was found dead inside a vehicle after her mother forgot to leave her in the nursery and the minor was locked in the car for nine hours.
Harris County Sheriff Thomas Gilliland explained that sometime between arriving at the home and entering the home he was distracted and he did not realize that the girl remained in the car, until he went to pick up his other two children at school.
According to the woman’s account, she left her other two children, “a five-year-old girl and a three-year-old boy, but who brought the one-year-old back with the intention of leaving her later after she ran her errands. “, reported the bailiff to People magazine.
After several hours had passed, the mother went to the nursery to pick up her little ones in a different car and asked about the baby, to which the workers replied that the girl was not in the establishment.
After insisting that he had left her in the place, the woman together with the nursery supervisor went back home and found the minor, who had died in the back seat of the car parked next to the residence.
According to police reports, the little girl may have been locked in the vehicle for about nine hours, from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm., and although the causes of death have not been determined, Gilliland indicated that high temperatures may have contributed to their demise.
