Pirelli Unveils 2025 Calendar Preview with Hunter Schafer, Padma Lakshmi, and Connie Fleming
Pirelli has unveiled a preview of its much-anticipated 2025 Calendar, featuring an impressive lineup of renowned personalities including Hunter Schafer, Jodie Turner-Smith, and Padma Lakshmi.
Since its inception in 1964, the iconic tire company has consistently recruited celebrities and models to grace the pages of its sultry 12-month spread. This year’s edition continues this tradition with stars such as John Boyega, Simone Ashley, and Vincent Cassel posing on both land and sea. They model barely-there garments, capturing the Calendar’s signature style of nude and semi-nude photography.
Ethan James Green, the photographer behind the 2025 Pirelli Calendar, captured these stunning images in the Miami Keys between May and June. Green’s distinct style combines the straightforwardness of his Midwestern upbringing with the vibrant energy of his adopted city. According to a statement from Pirelli, Green’s work creates “portraits of astonishing intimacy that capture and amplify the essence of his subjects.” His photography often explores themes of contemporary identity, sexuality, and style, resulting in a unique body of work.
This year’s calendar also includes Connie Fleming, a Mugler muse and transgender icon who gained prominence as a model for Steven Meisel. Fleming, a former drag queen, famously walked in Mugler’s fall 1989 fashion show, donning a rhinestone-spangled cowgirl ensemble that remains one of the designer’s most iconic looks.
Another standout in the 2025 Calendar is Jenny Shimizu, a groundbreaking model discovered by Calvin Klein while working as a mechanic. Shimizu went on to become the face of CK One, Calvin Klein’s unisex fragrance, and made history in 1993 as the first Asian woman to open and walk in a Prada fashion show.
Ethan James Green’s photography has graced the pages of esteemed magazines such as The New Yorker, Time, Vogue, and W. Additionally, he has collaborated with high-profile designers like Versace, Tom Ford, Miu Miu, and Dior.
